Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet: A Complete Owner’s Review

Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet

The first time I rode the Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet was at the Velocity race track in Bengaluru, and from that moment, I was hooked. As someone who has been a petrolhead all my life, with two 250-500cc motorcycles parked in my garage, I wasn’t sure if an electric bike could deliver the same rush—but the Ultraviolette F77 proved me wrong.

The instant torque, razor-sharp handling, and sheer confidence it inspired left me obsessed—I had to ride it more, ride it every day, and push its limits in every scenario. What started as a track-day thrill quickly turned into a daily ritual, from weaving through city streets to chasing open highways.

This machine isn’t just an electric motorcycle; it’s an addiction—one that redefines what it means to ride.

The Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet isn’t shy. With its “Jet-Inspired Stance,” the manufacturer delivers more than just clever advertising, because this design challenges traditional motorcycle aesthetics.

With its angular fairings, sharp lines, and aggressive LED lights—including an automatic headlight featuring “Ultra-V” position lamps—this motorcycle seems to be permanently in motion even when stationary.

My choice of the Afterburner Yellow version serves as a head-turner on the highway. Strangers often approach me while I’m waiting in traffic or parked at a café, asking about the unusual vehicle I’m riding.

But it’s not all for show. The steel trellis frame, reinforced by aluminium bulkhead, creates a sturdy foundation that stands out for its exceptional quality construction.

The raised handlebars, compared to its predecessor, the Ultraviolette Mach 2, significantly improves maneuverability, making urban navigation effortless. While its 197 kg weight is noticeable at low speeds, it quickly disappears as the bike gains momentum, delivering remarkable stability.

Motorcyclists who measure 5’10”, including myself, will find the 800mm seat height easy to reach.

Performance – Electrifying

The Ultraviolette F77’s standout feature is its exceptional.power & torque. It achieves a peak power of 30 kW (40.2 hp) and 100 Nm of torque, resulting in an initial adrenaline rush that even some higher cc motorcycles fail to give. A full-throttle motion in Ballistic mode propels the Ultraviolette F77 motorcycle to 60 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, outpacing many cars at traffic signals. A remarkable power surge occurs even in Glide mode because it focuses on efficiency.

The key highlights of this vehicle lie in its ride modes. Glide mode makes the Ultraviolette F77 ideal for urban journeys, as it regulates torque for steady traffic stops. The throttle response receives tighter activation in Combat mode, while Ballistic mode unlocks its full, unrivalled power.

At first, the 10 levels of regenerative braking felt like a lot to figure out. I remember riding through city traffic, experimenting with the higher regen settings, only to feel the bike sharply slow down the moment I let go of the throttle—almost like engine braking on steroids. It took a few days to get used to, but once I did, it became second nature. Now, I barely touch the brakes in stop-and-go traffic, letting the regen do most of the work. It’s a weirdly satisfying way to ride—smooth, controlled, and incredibly efficient.

And about range anxiety? Honestly, I haven’t felt it. A full charge gives me around 266 km in Glide mode, which is more than enough for my daily rides and weekend runs. Even in Ballistic mode—where I can’t resist pushing the bike harder—I still get around 186 km, which is impressive. The claimed 323 km IDC range might be a stretch in real-world conditions, but I’ve never felt the need to worry about running out of juice.

Tech That Feels Like the Future

The tech on the Ultraviolette F77 isn’t just for show—it genuinely elevates the riding experience. The five-inch TFT display is crisp and easy to read, even under direct sunlight, and the tactile input switch console is a breeze to use, whether I’m toggling through ride modes or checking battery stats at a stoplight.

But the real game-changer? Violette A.I. At first, I thought a voice assistant on a motorcycle might be a gimmick, but the first time I activated Combat mode with just a command, it felt straight out of a sci-fi movie. There’s something surreal about talking to your bike and having it respond instantly—it makes the whole experience feel futuristic in the best way.

Then there’s Delta Watch, which has become my go-to for tracking trip stats and keeping an eye on battery levels. And when it comes to staying connected, the Ultraviolette F77 nails it. With LTE and Wi-Fi, the bike updates itself over the air—no fuss, no manual installs. Bluetooth hooks up to my phone seamlessly, making navigation and even quick calls effortless.
Last but not the least – the tamper alert feature which is crucial for crowded parking situations, in which a notification is immediately triggered if someone tries to tamper with it.

Battery & Charging – Power Meets Practicality

The SRB10 battery is a game-changer. You can trust the aluminium enclosure, protected by an IP67 rating because it brings both durability and peace of mind. My Ultraviolette F77 has endured monsoon downpours while maintaining its operations without any difficulties. Battery charging with the standard charger requires 2.5 hours to achieve a 20-80% power level while the Boost Charger reduces the time to only 45 minutes.

Since I use my motorcycle for weekend getaways quite frequently, I’ve chosen to upgrade to the boost-charger. Additionally, I’ve recently bought myself the UVLYNC adapter. Since it’s compatible with Type 2 car chargers, I’ve been able to top up at EV stations meant for four-wheelers—super handy on long rides when I need a quick boost.
The UV Supernova Plus fast-charging network with 12kW DC compatibility is rapidly expanding across Indian States.

Safety – Over-Engineered in the Best Way

Ultraviolette didn’t cut corners here. Dual-channel ABS, along with dynamic stability control (DSC), operate seamlessly to maintain vehicle stability under wet driving conditions. Complete traction control adjustment extends from level one to level four and the hill-hold function serves as a lifesaver during uphill climbs.

TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) stands as a rare feature in this segment, and I find it very convenient. I realized its true value during a road trip from Bengaluru to Coorg. Midway through the journey, cruising at highway speeds, I got an alert indicating low pressure in my rear tire.

Normally, I wouldn’t have noticed until the handling felt off or, worse, until the tire gave out completely. Thanks to TPMS, I was able to stop at the next fuel station, top up the air, and continue without any trouble.

In Indian conditions, where roads are unpredictable, one stretch can be smooth asphalt, and the next full of potholes, TPMS is a lifesaver.

Comfort – A Sporty Ride, But Not Punishing

The Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet strikes the perfect balance—giving me the sporty thrill I crave without forcing me into an aggressive, wrist-heavy stance. The upright handlebars make all the difference, keeping me engaged in spirited city rides while staying comfortable enough for longer stints.
And as for city streets? The 160mm ground clearance has handled everything I’ve thrown at it—from nasty potholes to unexpected speed breakers—without breaking a sweat.

Ownership Experience

Since day one, the customer service provided by Ultraviolette has exceeded all expectations. The motorcycle comes with a three-year/30,000km warranty, in addition to the UV Care plans that can extend protective coverage to 8 years or 1,00,000 kms!

The process of scheduled maintenance runs smoothly, even though authorised service centres are limited outside major metropolitan areas. I am based out of Pune and they have a space station here in Shivaji Nagar closer to my place which makes life much easier for me.

Ready to Experience the Future?

I’ve been riding the motorcycle for the past 3 months without any complaints and I’m excited to see how much more performance I can extract out of this beast in different terrains. While I’ve tried to capture my experience in this article, you can only trust what your gut says or rather, feels after you take the SuperStreet out for a test ride on your own.

Check out the Ultraviolette website to find out the nearest space station for you and book your ride today!
